I really can't talk very enough about this grounded bar/restaurant. eating is excellent, especially given the low prices, and the attentive service of the owner and his family, excellent. we are always visiting several times when we are on madeira and have never been disappointed. our last visits were in October 2021. Went 4 time in seven days Breakfast .lunchs evening meals could not fault anything Deano and family very pleasant .Prices are brilliant .We will be back.
Experts in preparing Octopus, perfect structure, amazing taste especially the one with tometo sauce. Rest of their dishes also very good. Prices low in comparison to other restaurants nearby. Very good service. The place and surrounding are not perfect but if I have to choose one to recommend on the whole island it would be the one!
Simple food prepared with passion in this lovely small family run business. The pork belly and roast chicken (specials) are mamouth dishes that cone with roast potatoes and roast veg. Don't be put off that they only take cash. There is an ATM i the supermarket downstairs, it's worth the transaction fee. This is now on our list of regulars in Madeira.
