They had a delightful selection of sandwiches both f... read more This small little pub right across from our hotel (Pestana Carlton) Was a delightful part of our stay here. They had a delightful selection of sandwiches both for lunch and breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches made on traditional bread as well as the hamburger for lunch. It was nice to sit outside right across from a small square. Where there was a cute little cat that showed up for a morning feedings. They had the local beer, coral on tap but also a wide selection of cocktails.

We always stay at the Carlton across the street and couldn't ask for a better local pub. Loved their poncho. Located right by the gondala, this place is perfect for a relaxing drink in Funchal, Madeira outdoors. I only had their poncho but it was delicious. I tried their tangerine poncha and it was so fresh and tasty. I couldn't even taste the sugar cane rum which is super dangerous because that will destroy you in the best way possible. So good! One of the most popular places in Funchal for poncha so do it!

Try the Prego Two, you won't be sorry you did. Just yummy!
