They couldn’t even... read more Only one star because you can’t give zero. The staff are the rudest set of individuals I have ever come across in a customer facing setting. They couldn’t even point me in the right direction of the toilet. My wife and myself felt really uncomfortable in this bar and all they are interested in is getting your money. Such a pity as everywhere else we have been in Funchal has been amazing. How they have got 4.5 stars is beyond me. Will not be returning.

The man serving with b... read more WARNING: We have been coming to Madiera for many years and always support this bar. However after today's experience we would not return. The man serving with black hair and glasses was incredibly rude. We wanted to pay credit card which he wasn't happy about and said he had to charge it in pounds. He argued with us and said he would reluctantly charge in euros, but when we checked credit card receipt he had charged pounds. This was downright dishonest and his attitude was unbelievable.

Loved their poncho. Located right by the gondala, this place is perfect for a relaxing drink in Funchal, Madeira outdoors. I only had their poncho but it was delicious. I tried their tangerine poncha and it was so fresh and tasty. I couldn't even taste the sugar cane rum which is super dangerous because that will destroy you in the best way possible. So good! One of the most popular places in Funchal for poncha so do it!

Try the Prego Two, you won't be sorry you did. Just yummy!
