Delicious dish of the day with pasta, white beans and some meat substitute, but in person I would prefer pure ingredients such as baked vegetables or mushroom. A small selection of pastries and ice cream for dessert. Very friendly staff.

We had... read more My wife and I visited plano D today during a trip to Funchal. The staff was friendly and attentive and could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We had toasties and amazing pure fruit juices. There is a good range of vegan, organic and ethical products (food and health products). plano D has a good location and is easy to find. We would definitely recommend it.

Just ask the fri... read more A much more helpful, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere versus Celeiro. They have fresh gluten free bread, which is a fantastic find for Madeira. Just ask the friendly stuff, they will get it for you. There's a food/bakery area, as well as the usual dry and fridge goods make sure you look at the downstairs!! This is the best health food store in Funchal, especially because they are nice, which goes a long way.
