Pastelaria E Padaria Momentus - Funchal

We went a couple of times for coffee, smoothies, cakes and wraps. We liked everything. Maybe the cheescake with passion fruit was the highlight. Good price for value!

Went here twice. 1st time, 2 young members of staff, covering everything and good interaction. 2nd time 4 older members of staff on duty and everything was an inconvenience. Basically we were blanked by the staff. So we left. The coffee and pastel de nata was very nice on the first visit, and a credit to the staff. But unlikely to go again. If I was passing, I would only bother if I could see which staff were on.

We have been here twice so far in our stay in Funchal. This is a hidden gem. Friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced savoury menu and fantastic selection of cakes. We would definitely come back here again.

Smart caffe and bakery in the city part lido ajuda by funchal. very walkable distance from our apartment, which is always good. small but beautiful outside seating area with good service. baked and coffee really good.

This is a jewel of a place used by both local and nearby hotel guests. great value for money and the selection of bread and cakes excellent
