2 Chinesa (white coffee) €5.50! Elsewhere typically €2-3 for two. Even if you ask for the coffee in Portuguese they clearly mark you down as tourists to be ripped off. The previous day we only paid 90 cents for a Chinesa nearby.

I visited this little restaurant, that overlooks the harbour, on my way back from the cable car ride. I was promptly seated and given a menu by a very friendly and professional waiter who knew his job. I ordered a large giraffe beer and a double cheeseburger and chips. The beer and the cheeseburger were delicious and I had another couple of beers for the road. It was a very nice place to eat, drink, relax and watch the world go by.

We only stopped for drinks here, but is was a good place to spend some time. The views over the ocean are lovely, it is a great place to people watch and the menu is large and varied. The coffee was rather sweet but the iced chocolate was very pleasant. Some Ecuadorian musicians were playing nearly which added to the ambience. The staff could be rather more welcoming!

Super friendly and nice staff, good meals and drinks. cannot wait for my next stay.
