O Tasco - Funchal

Simply the best. Very unpretentious, superb (and I mean that) relaxing restaurant. Away from the 'rat run ' of mediocre restaurants begging for your custom. Here you sometimes have to wait for a table, but so worth it. Prices are good, service superb (but not rushed), food oh so good. Delicious.

Amazing cozy restaurant and really nice staff. they have to order at the bar where the waiter declares them over all courts. especially good were limpets and oktopus snacks. we have ordered various fish as main court and all were exceptional. best leg-beetroot salad. passions fruit mousse and cheesecake was delicious.

When we arrived, they had no free tables outside, but they offered a table for us in five minutes while we waited absolutely professional on the bar! the menu was somehow interactiw in the kitchen and the choices looked all very delicious. we went for the fish and were not disappointed. 100% recommended for this great location waiter speak good English and cards are accepted.

For an octopus sandwich a drink, really nice eating. was taken into the restaurant to see the menu and some of the offered foods, the kitchen area is right at the bar and the smells went out amazing. the staff was very friendly and friendly will definitely be back for an evening meal.

We were really excited about O Tasco having read the reviews were really disappointed when we arrived to find it closed. We hope it is temporary they are not a victim of COVID.
