Th... read more We always try to visit the Med when we are on holiday in Funchal, so glad to discover that it was open again if only on Wednesdays for their Meat Feast menu. The service and ambience in the Med is always wonderful particularly if you get a table on the balcony. We had Chateaubriand for two with green pepper sauce. We asked for it to be medium rare and when it was carved at our table, the6 checked that it was to our liking which it was. The meat tender and delicious and the sauce a wonderful accompaniment (there were veg too). We had the recommended bottle of red wine and tighter with our starters and desserts a wonderful evening meal.

Currently only open one night a week, hope that changes very soon.
