Maria was the wai... read more Always call here for lunch during our annual visit to Madeira. Our favourite cafe has an almost “secret” tropical garden through a glass door. Maria was the waitress today (12.10.23) and she must be the best, most efficient waitress in the whole of Madeira. Called for drinks mid-morning and then back again for lunch . . . small beers, Italian sandwiches and shared a plate of chips. Beautiful view of the sea from the outside terrace through the trees. Perfection. . . .
