this restaurant is a recently opened filiale of casa italia in lido area. this new place is a modern version of the old, with modern decor and dining areas inside and outside, but the same excellent menu, wine list and first-class eat. the food gives any of the more expensive places we visited twice and had sweet pasta and vegetariana pizza with a large (very big) mixed salad. we chose papa figo red wine from the dou... I had the huh risotto and it was delicious. one of the only places with a chicken risotto on the menu that I found in funchal and also ample fun. pizza also great and good inexpensive. would recommend.
Although the tempo is much slower than at home in england, they are working hard on holiday
This restaurant is a recently opened filiale of casa italia in lido area. this new place is a modern version of the old, with modern decor and dining areas inside and outside, but the same excellent menu, wine list and first-class eat. the food gives any of the more expensive places we visited twice and had sweet pasta and vegetariana pizza with a large (very big) mixed salad. we chose papa figo red wine from the douro really delicious and finished with tiramisu. the staff is very friendly and the prices are excellent. visit them again before we leave and regularly visit our next visit to madeira
Beautiful staff, great view from the terrace, cheap prices good eating!
Great salad and ice cream. Nice outside seating. Next door to Savoy Palace.
