Recommend making a reservation in advance, especially for a window table with an ocean view at sunset (consider arriving a bit earlier during winter . Opens at 18, closed on Mondays. The staff is friendly, and it's one of the best small restaurants in Madeira. We started with the Mediterranean Tapas plate, mostly good, but the stuffed olives were regular, and doritos came with mayo instead of guacamole. The Flabee Pepper steak was delicious (5/5 , and the Madeira golden bream fillet with saffron risotto was tasty but the risotto tasted more like turmeric and a bit oily (3/5 . The banana split for dessert was okay. Overall, a good experience; would recommend. A five-star review if the starter matched the menu description and the risotto had a genuine saffron taste. (Dish presentation looked better in reviews.
