A Cuba - Funchal

Excellent service, good menu, fish dishes were excellent, octopus and scabbard, personal preference, chips could have been cooked for longer but good nevertheless

Lovely restaurant with a unique interior of original Maderia barrels. The manager was very friendly and informative. The menu is not vast but there's a good choice. I had the Portuguese style pork and my partner had the octopus stew. Both meals came with potatoes or fries, a green veg and a salad. Big portions for us! All very tasty. The wine is also very good. Prices are very reasonable. Will go back again if I'm in Funchal. Highly recommend.

Really lovely food, we wanted some dishes off the standard menu after a few days here and the scabbard fisherman’s style, chicken in cream and garlic and the pork in white wine in garlic had us arguing over who had the best meal
