Very recommended that you visit this place for dinner when you are in Hakuba. Just one of the best restaurants in the area. Watching the cook in action is worth the price of the shot alone, the guy is a machine. Good respect. The food is also amazing, all the small plates we had were great and the okonomiyaki was some of the best I ever had anywhere. Book in advance as you will probably find the place full.
It is authentic Japanese. We were lucky to get seats with no booking. It is a tatami style dining experience. We will come back again for this! : For some people who cannot cross-legged sit on the mat, practice some yoga first before coming here. ;
Fantastic dinner at B.O.S last night. The food was delicious. The chef was running the restaurant single handed and was on top of everything. Great authentic Japanese experience. Limited seating so make a reservation or be happy to wait a bit.
Food was so good! Owner is super sassy and runs the whole place with no help at all. Absolutely recommend anyone to go here when visiting Hakuba for great portion sizes, great quality food and all at a reasonable price. We are booked to come back again before we leave town, it's that good.
Three times in the last two days. The owner and his son are both amazing and the food is fantastic. The owner does not speak much English, but is very happy to chat if you want to practice Japanese. His son can speak English enough for everything you need. The okonomiyaki is amazing in size taste and cost.
