Beks - Feedback

Was Eloise Finney at Beks a mag?
The customer service was excellent. I enjoyed the Turtle Cheesecake, but I wasn't a fan of the New York Cheesecake. The turkey sandwich and kale salad were both fantastic. As for parking, we had to find a spot on the street and walk to the restaurant. We ordered takeout for lunch, and the average price per person was around $20–30. View all feedback.
What Justin Wilson dislikes about Beks:
This place at one time was good but unfortunately it has become bad. Four of us went to dinner tonight and all four of our entrees were not good at all. The blandest tasting food I have ever had at a restaurant. The service was unbelievably slow and our server was incompetent. When asked about a fish entree, his answer was I think it 's white. . Annabelle is an outstanding waitress. We consistently enjoy wonderful meals here, and it’s the ideal spot for a romantic date night.
I absolutely love visiting Beks in Fulton, MO. The food is excellent, and we really enjoyed a delicious slice of carrot cake.
The pasta, on the other hand, was just heavy cream, lukewarm, and topped with shredded cheese that wouldn’t even melt. I had added chicken, but it was burnt and cooked on a dirty flat top, leaving bits of grill flakes mixed in. To top it off, they never brought the bread that was supposed to come with the dish. It felt like the kitchen staff was more focused on taking smoke breaks than preparing food, despite the restaurant only being 25% full. As for the service, it was terrible. Our waitress only approached us twice: once to take our order and again to deliver the check, smiling only then. Overall, this was the worst dining experience my fiancé and I have ever had.
It is a bit on the pricey side for Fulton but the quality of the food make up for it. Service is nothing special but they give you room to breath (a quality not often shared by restaurants of this sort). An excellent place to celebrate any occasion.
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience** This restaurant, once celebrated for its quality and service, is now facing challenges that have disappointed many patrons. Dishes often lack flavor, with complaints of bland entrees and poorly executed meals, including overcooked and undercooked items. Service issues also plague the establishment, with slow responses and inattentive staff contributing to a frustrating dining experience. However, there are glimmers of hope, as some diners still recall enjoyable meals and attentive servers during earlier visits. Despite the inconsistencies, patrons remain hopeful for a revival, recognizing the restaurant's potential for excellence if improvements are made.

For a place claiming to be a 4.5 star restaurant the food was very mediocre. My wife and I had ribeye steak with green beans. That had some kind of funky spicy heat on them which is very odd for a green that is to be served with a steak most generally green beans are prepared with salt and pepper with Beef. The steaks had absolutely no sear and was very bland and more toward the rare side when we asked for medium rare.Might come back for a second try, but definitely not worth $90. AND KEEP THE DRUNKERDS OUT OF THE DINING AREA!!! AND TO THE COUPLE SUCKING FACE AT THE BAR WE WISH YOU THE BEST.

I've visited this restaurant several times in recent years. It was recommended to me by some locals, and that recommendation has proven to be well-deserved. I've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service here. Today, my boss and I came for dinner after work because I assured him it was a great place to eat. I tried the artichoke and cream of mushroom soups, and both were excellent. Our server, a young woman named Mandy, was fantastic—very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!
The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is both friendly and attentive. I tried the lunch special, a pizza sub, which was the most unique sandwich I've ever had, and it was fantastic!
My fiancé and I ordered the Sirloin Special, and she enjoyed the grilled zucchini and the cobb salad. For dessert, we tried both cheesecakes, the turtle cheesecake, and the chocolate truffles. The spinach artichoke dip was excellent as an appetizer. The food was, as always, outstanding. The staff was attentive, courteous, and professional, always one step ahead.
Service and Food was Exquisite as always. 8/7/21 Another Fantastic evening at Beks ! They have never been a disappointment Great food ,service atmosphere 2/12/22 Another Fantastic meal at Beks even though we are at Beks almost every day they are open Danny still amazes us every meal. Fantastic job done by all ! Danny done it again this evening. Morel Risotto was FANTASTIC! Service was GREAT as always also ! LOVE BEKS !
Artichoke dip appetizer was recommended by the waitress and tasted amazing. I also had a Chipotle chicken sandwich (recommended). 10 out of 10. They also carried sour beer, which is rare for me to find in restaurants/bars.

You really can't go wrong at this place. There's a wide selection of delicious food along with a fantastic downtown atmosphere. With it being locally owned, it's a guaranteed win every time.
There was no crab Rangoon available yesterday, which was quite disappointing because it's so delicious. Unfortunately, I also didn't enjoy the peel-and-eat shrimp special. The shrimp weren't deveined, and the heads were still attached, which I didn't like at all.
I've visited this restaurant multiple times over the years and I hope to revise my review to 4 or 5 stars in the future. I was seated after about 5 minutes and had a pleasant conversation with the...
