If you're looking for something sinfully fried- this is the spot. Got the fries with chicken mild spicy. Was crazy heavy, not very spicy. Will need to step up the spicy next time but everything was fried to perfection. Def a spot to try out. View all feedback.
What Melissa P doesn't like about Hotties Nashville Hot Chicken:
Pros: Generous portions. I ordered the 2 slider combo and it came with a mountain of fries (which were delicious) and the sliders were really full size chicken sandwiches. The one slider combo would be perfect for one person. Chicken was tender; pickles slaw were tasty. Cons: chicken breading was so full of grease it was hard to taste the chicken and the bun was immediately mushy. It reminded me of breading on fish c... View all feedback.

Ordered just the sandwich. Everything on it with medium heat. Tasted great. The heat didn't take away from the flavor. Chicken had a light crispy outside and was juicy on the inside. Probably would taste great even without the sauce.
Just tried hotties for the first time and it just became one of my favorite spicy chicken sandwich spots in the area. Ordered the slider combo, slider and tender combo, with the truffle Mac n cheese and pancake biscuits. Everything is on point. Chicken sliders are bready, flavorful, not too greasy, and the chicken has an almost tempura-like crunch. Truffle Mac and cheese is for mushroom lovers and the truffle flavor is there without being overpowering. Pancake biscuits are dense, sweetened with powdered sugar and I think maple syrup on top. Immense, but good. Staff was sweet, too. Thumbs up.
The portions are pretty good. My wife and I split a two sandwich combo and also ordered the loaded fries and the Mac and cheese. My wife got mild spicy and for her it was a little spicy but she can 't handle spicy. I got the mega which is the hottest Ave yes it had a good spicy kick to it but it wasn 't flavorful enough for me so I 'll try the one level down next time and see if it 's a little more flavorful. The loaded fries were really good and I literally said "holy s when I opened them since it 's a pretty good amount. Brought a bunch of fries, coleslaw, pickles, wish it had a bit more chicken but it was still good. The Mac and cheese I thought was pretty good with big pieces of mushroom and good cheese ratio. Overall I loved the food and will definitely go back soon.
I'm so happy I decided to try this place, blew me away. So good, and great prices which is always a win in my book these days. Service was great. Its not traditional Nashville hot sauce, more of a Korean fried chicken profile. But I love that. The sandwich is a great portion for the price, juicy, crispy, well seasoned, generous on the slaw. I HATE when you get a massive piece of chicken and bread and a few slivers of slaw. It's the freshness you need. I got mild, and while I enjoy spicy this was spicy enough, I don't think it was mild at all lol. So start with mild people. The combo price is great, generous serving of fries. When I saw crinkle cut fries in the photos I was like meh, let's just see what's up. Waaay delicious! Crispy, well seasoned with an interesting touch of sweet, I loved them. The sauce... drool. Bomb.com. Also has a touch of sweetness and balances perfectly with the seasoning profile on the chicken and fries and the heat of the chicken. I'm big on balance and ratios, not everyone is. So if you don't like sweet, that's something to have in mind when trying this place. Truffle Mac, super bomb. Pancake biscuits, while delicious, absorb too much oil. I didn't know they were fried. Maybe try air frying them? Idk but even the box had a puddle of oil in it so not the healthiest thing. But a yummy finish to a great meal. Overall 10/10 definitely coming back.
