Tacos el Jalapeno - Fullerton

This place is amazing! The best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. My daughter had the queen, beans and rice. She told me that the Quesadillas are brilliant, and the beans were ok, but if you eat it with rice, the beans will be some of the best beans you will taste. I had the Carnitas; the meat was well cooked, juicy and well seasoned. The balance through the plate was striking, with the taste of meat, the crunch of vegetables and the taste of cheese; made a completely new level. The service was of course excellent.

After many years moved back to PA and was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. This little, no Frills place was exactly what I was looking for. I had the Tacos Birria and my wife enjoyed all the fried fish. Both were tasty and as I hoped - authentically not western. The service was friendly. Note: I am not sure what the other critic expected when they gave a star of the Tacos Birria, but I really enjoyed it and they were very generous with beef.

Great authentic Mexican cuisine and great friendly service. The ice is also amazing!
