We reserved a table online at short notice, which worked well. We were there in time for the opening at 6 p.m. The waiter was very polite and courteous and offered such a good feeling and above all a high quality special service. Unfortunately, this changed as the number of guests increased. Longer and longer breaks. The service was rarely seen. Although the waiter informed us that the meal would take about 20 minutes, it ended up being 40 minutes. Despite the starter, the main course came very late. Unfortunately, as we wanted to see a performance by Gerd Dudenhöffer in the adjoining ballroom at 8 p.m., time was unfortunately very tight. The main course arrived shortly after 7 p.m. when everything at the neighboring tables had already been taken care of. When at 7:30 p.m., despite being on the lookout for almost 15 minutes, no one from the service showed up to get the bill ready, we decided to meet the service and wait at the front, which they somehow didn't think was a good thing and were viewed quite suspiciously. In the end we finally managed to get out at 7:40 p.m. and freshen up briefly at the hotel. The dishes themselves were good. The onion soup was very tasty. Likewise the crusty roast. However, the skin of the duck was not crispy but softened and therefore leathery to chew. The ambience is great and the music is appropriate. WiFi is free and fast. It's a shame that the service here was probably too much for us. You could also have asked if you were going to the event in the house and thus accommodated the guest. Unfortunately, I only see 3 points for service, due to the high standards that could no longer be maintained. The dishes are solid and tasty, but not surprising. Vegetarian is offered, but is not the focus. Parking spaces are available in the hotel's underground car park but are subject to a charge.

We spontaneously went to the Maritim Hotel's restaurant and were very positively surprised, as some of the reviews weren't that great. The service is outstanding and really warm and accommodating. From the greeting from the kitchen, good wine advice including a small test selection to the invitation at the end for a short drink, everything was there. The ambience is great, the vault invites you to exchange wine philosophical ideas and if only these walls could talk. The food is solid, I would have expected a little more hunting cuisine from a Dianakeller. Possibly as a merger. Nevertheless the food was good and everything tasted good. The Caesar salad was more Italian than the American version (although I prefer the New York version). Personally, I like my food to be more boldly seasoned and with surprising elements in a way that I couldn't cook at home hence the 4*, but it could certainly be 5 for people who haven't completed cooking courses in the star kitchen. I would go to the restaurant again next time I'm in Fulda.

The food is OK, nothing more. The waiters are trying hard, but completely uncoordinated. We were asked several times by different waiters about our order without anything happening, then the forks were forgotten, then no steak forks were brought, then it took a very long time for the drinks to arrive, etc. There was no greeting from the kitchen because the bread was gone. The crusty roast was also gone. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement, maybe we caught the wrong day. There are many good alternatives in Fulda for the price.

We had booked a table online at short notice, which worked well. We arrived promptly at 6 p.m. when the restaurant opened. The waiter was very polite and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere and, initially, providing excellent service. Unfortunately, this changed as the number of guests increased. The waiter made increasingly long pauses, and we rarely saw him. Although he informed us that the food would take about 20 minutes, it ended up taking 40. Despite having an appetizer, the main course arrived very late. Since we were planning to see a performance by Gerd Dudenhöffer in the adjacent ballroom at 8 p.m. that evening, time was becoming very tight. The main course arrived shortly after 7 p.m., by which time everything had already been finished at the neighboring tables. When, at 7:30 p.m., despite looking around for almost 15 minutes, no one from the staff appeared to prepare the bill, we decided to accommodate them and wait at the front, which they didn't seem to appreciate and viewed with suspicion. ... We finally managed to get out at 7:40 pm and freshen up quickly at the hotel. The food itself was good. The onion soup was delicious, as was the roast pork. However, the skin on the duck wasn't crispy but rather soggy and leathery. The ambiance is great, and the music is fitting. Wi-Fi is free and fast. It's a shame that the service seemed overwhelmed. They could have asked if we were going to an event at the hotel and thus accommodated the guest. Unfortunately, I can only give 3 points for service because of the high standards they couldn't maintain towards the end. The dishes are solid and tasty, but nothing special. Vegetarian options are offered, but they aren't the main focus. Parking is available in the hotel's underground garage, but it's not free.
