Gandhi - Fukui

This place is simply incredible! the food tastes amazing, the spicy mirror is genuine Indian flavor (they recommend seasoning mirror 2 for the typical Japanese palate), and they have a nice selection of curries and other Indian foods. the personal is also friendly. they do not take credit cards.

The ghandi indian restaurant serves a large selection of delicious spicy and tasteful curries. I chose the butter chicken curry with salat, nan and leti for 1250¥, but I decided for the gooey, delicious cheese nan instead of regular nan for 250¥ more. While their curry, although quite good, was not particularly amazing and they offer unlimited regular nan servings like a few other Indian shops do, I think the shaft alone is worth coming.

Nothing wrong with this place at all. It has good curry and good prices. The nan bread is awesome and huge (their cheese-nan is even better)! They wrap up left over nan bread for you to take home (but not curry). 4 stars because Fukui has a number of Nepalese/Indian curry places and they are all about the same and offer about the same menu. Some of their curries taste a little different, but nothing makes any of them, including this one, stand out above the rest. A good solid 4 stars.

They get the style of food done well, though it is a bit pricy for what you get. The atmosphere is pretty nice with good seating for small parties, but not big ones, or with children.
