Hellas in Fürstenau offers excellent Greek cuisine, very nice service and is one of the few restaurants worth a visit in Fürstenau for a cozy dinner. The grill plate with Souvláki and other Greek meat specialties was tastefully very good, also very well prepared were the butter-soft Calamari. The price-performance ratio is exemplary here. In the small village of Fürstenau there is a Greek restaurant with the all-out name Hellas! Here the cliché is really lived and loved. Begrüssungsouzo, Grillteller, Abschiedsouzo. And yes, I ordered a grill plate and everything in all it tasted to me. What disturbed me is that we only offered a place in the former smoker room and you could smell the smoke. The room should be urgently renovated! Furthermore, the herbal baguette located in the map as a freezer baguette from the discounter was just embarrassing for a restaurant! I'm just giving 3 stars more just aren't inside! P.S. The staff very friendly!
First and foremost, we were driven to Hellas Restaurant due to the lack of choice in the place. The selection was large, even for vegetarians there were plenty of food, which is rather unusual for a Greek restaurant. We were very kindly greeted and led by the employee to the back of the shop, as it was already well visited or reserved in front. The room was quite dark and both the decor and the walls have actually already seen better times come quite in the years, so that at several places the wallpaper easily detached from the wall. We were served quickly and the food was flotted. But here directly the first disappointment: the garlic bread with Tzatsiki, which we had ordered as an appetizer, was simply a baking baguette from the freezer, i.e. basically a cent article that is just baked in the oven for a restaurant I find it a pretty naughty! But good, at least the main food (Greek art, a run-up with different vegetables and potatoes) seemed to be made themselves. Unfortunately, the taste was very nasty, which I personally did not say so, here would have been a hint in the card or at least when ordering, as I think that this does not taste everyone. Conclusion: The service was fast and nice, but much more the store has unfortunately not to offer for me. I don't think I'll come back...
