Chapala Authentic Mexican And Grill

The food is terrible. We had a group of 8. The chicken is canned. The cheese dip, barely warm tasted like it came from a jar ...definitely not recently made. The steak fajitas had a very bitter taste..not at all enjoyable. One ordered shredded chicken burritos...what came...a burrito w primarily refried beans and almost no chicken.. The Dr Pepper and Coke were both flat. The only thing they got right was the fried ice cream. Overall the food needs help...a lot of help. Don't waste your money time or tastebuds.

The food here was okay but definitely not worth the terrible service. The waitress Bella or Belle maybe didn’t refill our drinks or even check on us once. Waited over 45 minutes for a to go order (put in when we first ordered) for it to be wrong and have to wait another 15

Went to Chapalas for karaoke this past Sunday, I love Corinne and her karaoke shows. But the service here at this restaurant is lacking so much that I will NOT be back. I waited by the door for what felt like ages while workers were playing on their phones, so opted to sit at the bar. I was not aware that the bar area does not have a bartender so it took me a very very long time to get a drink. I wanted to get an appetizer but the guy didn't come back to check on me until almost an hour later. The phone rang n rang but no one seemed to care. Worst restaurant experience in the area.

Me and my family got seated and noticed that the restaurant was almost completely empty, it was just my family and another family and that was it. We then waited nearly 15 minutes for our waitress to attend us, and then waited another 35 to 40 minutes for our food to be served. Food looked nothing like the pictures, and it was in fact flavorless. First and last time we will be coming here.
