We needed to refuel and stopped by the newly renovated store, and I must say, it’s very impressive! The renovations are great! Everything was well-stocked, and the staff were really helpful. For the second time in so many weeks in fact before the reno and after, they were not able to run a SNAP/EBT card. This is illegal in Colorado and other stores have imposed fines to take the card, then not allow. It's an ugly good, and I'm sure they don't have to. Bring it together. Btw, could stop making rude comments about students after they go out of business too. Very unprofessional.

However, when he approached the counter to place his order, the lady attending to customers rudely informed him that she couldn’t assist him because she had to manage her own orders and couldn’t be disturbed. While I understand that employees have their responsibilities, I believe customer satisfaction should be a priority. She didn’t even suggest that he wait a few minutes; she simply refused to make a burrito for him. Unfortunately, it seems that the Fruita Maverik is off to a poor start.
The old woman working today 6-12-22, was coughing so hard, she could barely talk. She sounded very sick. Was she? I don't know. Should she be working in that condition? Absolutely not.
Generally love and use Maverik stores, BUT not this one. Dirty restrooms, NO freshly cooked food or freshly prepared food, not even a hotdog on the rotary cooker. To top it all off when I tried to wash my hands in the men 's restroom...NO RUNNING WATER! And when I commented about it to the clerk I was rudely told oh yea, it works fine, you just got to keep waving your hand under the facit and sometimes even rub the bottom of the facit to get it to work . WOW, not up to Maverik standards by a long ways...district manager...go get 'em!
