We only took coffe and icecream. We wanted a glass of Frontera Afrutado. It is the sweet whitewine of the Island -made here . They didn't have it!! But they definitly could charge us 4.50€ for their homemade icecream . Is was nice but far too expensive! ! Cheaper in Sweden.
We are always looking for restaurants with authentic and local food. We love that kind of restaurants that don’t seem like much from the outside, but when you experience the service and the quality of food, it simply amazes you. Attended by the chef of the restaurant and he recomended us some nice local dishes. They were all very lovely. They were always checking if everything was ok. Also one very important thing to point out. It has been AGES since I last saw a chef/cook bringing you your dish and serve it properly (separate/cut bones from meat). A really wonderful service, I must say. Would recommend 10/10 for all of you who love local food.
I see no sense to explain... my father were given with spoiled chicken... terrible... just avoid this place.....
Tengo el cordero en el horno, listo en diez minutos...delicioso ! says the chef(? in green uniform : after 20 minutes, eaten a salade, another green-uniform man asks: anything else ? , and our delicious cordel al horno ? maybe it is burnt in the owen... ; at minute 30 the first chef(? is cutting the lamb in front of us(! . No flavor, absolutely no own gravy and ... COLD ! The chef(? says: Un poco frio en el interior ... . Secret and lie revealed : the owen was the MICROWAVE ? and the lamb was FROZEN ?
It's quite offputting not having a printed menu so you don't have time to think about what to order and you don't know the prices in advance. However, the selection of 4 local cheeses with honey was excellent, as was the lamb. It wasn't cheap, but it was delicious. Even the bread was more than edible, which is a rarity in the Canaries.
