I can't emphasize enough how much those places mean... read more I live in Wichita, Kansas, and I absolutely adore Frontenac Bakery and Frontenac Brot in Frontenac, Kansas. I can't emphasize enough how much those places mean to me! I was born in 1971 and grew up enjoying Frontenac Brot at Barto's Idle Hour in Frontenac. Since my family still lived in Pittsburg, Kansas, as well as Liberal, we frequently visited Frontenac for our trips to Barto's Idle Hour and the bakery. We always made sure to take some extra Brot home to enjoy for a few days. There's simply no other bread like it! I highly recommend stopping by Frontenac Bakery for a fresh Brot. Treat yourself—you won't regret it! Always blessing you!
