In love with this place! Best to come in early, I like to get there first thing on the weekend to start my morning out right. Everything is so flakey and perfectly made, it’s heavenly. I wish I had some photos to add, but the food just disappears so fast as soon as I get home : View all feedback.
What Brian Runo doesn't like about Tulla Patisserie And Cafe:
I went in for a baguette, croissants, and a slice of quiche. The croissants were nice, fluffy, and crunchy. The baguette was not done correctly, had no crunch, was too dense, and priced very high. The quiche was tiny for the price, and tasted more like afrittata in a pie crust rather than a quiche. I can't get over how absolutely tiny it was for $6/slice. The location was cleanand the staff were pleasant. View all feedback.
I had been waiting patiently for this place to open. I am glad the wait is finally over. I was very pleased with everything I tried. The carrot cake was fantastic as was the croissant. I have yet to eat the rest of my purchases, but from what I tried I know I will not be disappointed. I typically don’t eat this stuff but good breads and pastries are worth the dietary splurge. It will be difficult not to stop in daily. Haha I really liked the openness of the kitchen area where the bakers were still baking up delicious fresh from scratch creations. The selection was still plentiful at 1:00. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor and color palette was inviting and welcoming. It would be a great place to meet up for coffee and share a special treat with friends. This is a gem of an addition to the community! I wish them much success.
The sourdough bread and the chocolate sourdough are sooooo delish!! The shop is darling and the staff are very friendly. So happy you're in the neighborhood!
I’ve lived in Dallas for 25 years recently got back from Paris which makes pastry shops here look like a bad joke. I had an appointment in Frisco and was driving by needed some coffee was expecting my usual poor experience. I guess today was their first day for business outstanding croissants great pastries probably some of the best I’ve ever had in town! I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area! Thank you for finally bringing something edible to Frisco !
I was looking forward to the opening and stopped by this afternoon. Unfortunately by 2:00pm they were sold out of many things but I very much enjoyed the delicious macaroons, the lemon pound cake and the iced caramel macchiato! Next time I’ll come earlier for the croissants!
Visited Tulla for opening weekend and oh my goodness!!! Not since our trip to Paris last year have I tasted a chocolate croissant as perfectly buttery, flaky, delicate and delicious as I enjoyed today! Paired perfectly with bergamot hot tea and a bacon cheddar scone. Got to meet half of the owner duo for this creative venture and get some insight on the story behind Michelle’s vision. We are super excited for this family owned bakery! I wasn’t even upset to hear they had already sold out of quiche, ham gruyere croissants, and fresh breads and baguettes as I want nothing but absolute success for this bakery patisserie and of course we will be returning to try everything we missed out on!!!
