I appreciate how much effort they put into offering clear vegan options, rather than just adapting existing dishes that often get lost in translation between customers and the kitchen. I've always found enough satisfying choices on the menu. The dishes are delicious and offer a great variety, and I especially love the fried plantains. View all feedback.
What Lee Cox doesn't like about Taco Ocho Frisco:
We ordered one beef taco, one chicken taco, and one fish taco, which were served with black beans and rice. First, I want to mention that the meat was moist and tender. However, the downside was that everything lacked seasoning; even salt and pepper seemed to be absent. It was good but quite bland overall. The queso was enjoyable, though. View all feedback.
The atmosphere here was incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely outstanding—a perfect 10 out of 10!
Not bad, but the menu is limited and there are no traditional drinks. It's a bit strange to have sugary drinks. However, the chips and salsa are delicious, and the brisket is fantastic!
Taco Ocho is a culinary gem wrapped in a tortilla! The moment I took a bite of their tacos, I was transported to a world where flavors mingled with an intensity I seldom experience. Each mouthful was a harmonious blend of perfectly balanced ingredients, featuring tender, juicy meats topped with vibrant, fresh salsa. The warm, fluffy tortillas embraced these delights like a gentle hug. The atmosphere at Taco Ocho is as welcoming as its food is delicious — a sanctuary filled with the enticing aromas of spices and the joyful chatter of satisfied diners. Every detail, from the service to the presentation, reflects a true passion for Mexican cuisine that deserves not just five stars, but a place among the best in the culinary world. Taco Ocho has set a new benchmark for quality that keeps me craving more.
Ok so it's to say I absolutely love this place! Lol. I've been 3 times in the last few weeks. This is my wife's favorite place. For drinks they're amazing! The food is glorious! Try it out solo or family, this is a family owned juggernaut of a restaurant .
I don’t hand out five stars lightly. Taco Ocho is a place I would definitely recommend. Came in on a Saturday afternoon around 5 PM. The crowd was light and we were able to sit down right away.Good options to drink and I really liked the chips and salsa. For my first time here, I ordered a taco plate that comes with white rice and black beans. There are several different options from other Latin countries, like a version of a Cuban sandwich and there was a dish styled from Puerto Rico and Peru, so this isn’t your standard Mexican taco joint.Got our food quickly and our server made sure to check on us and refilled our drinks before we thought to ask. Go try Taco Ocho. There’s good variety on the menu and the food was delicious.
