Sushi Damu - Frisco

Trying how many sushi and rolls we can eat : Here’s the list we tried in one sitting Ahi Tower, (2 orders , Tuna Sushi, Salmon Sushi, Damu Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Rainbow Roll, 911 Roll, Ex-Boyfriend Roll, Ex-Girlfriend Roll, Sunkissed Roll and Jessie Roll . All yummy but too much food even for 3 hungry guys. Lololol

Found this very good place recently. Ordered couple of different sushis and both were very good. Menu has many options and fairly priced. Liked their layout of the restaurant. It was almost 60% packed on a week day at 9, which itself showed that they serve good food. Staff was friendly and attentive. I see myself being a regular here.

Was not bad for a quick dinner, but disappointed in the sushi quality. The rolls were mushy, too much mayo and fell apart easily. Baked rolls were torched too long so the topping was partially charred instead of seared. The chicken katsu was great! Considering the positive reviews overall, I am guessing our experience was not the norm and they were just busy.

Great sushi and the chicken katsu was generous, but very skimpy on the sashimi for the Chirashi bowl. That's the only thing I didn't like
