What Anita R dislikes about Outer Range Brewing:
It was quite busy for a Monday afternoon, with only one person working at the bar. The service was friendly, and we appreciated the various outdoor seating options available. We sampled several beers and tried the chicken from Bird Craft, which is located inside the brewery. The beers were enjoyable, offering a range of options including some milder styles like brown ales, Kölsch, and German beers, in addition to IPA... View all feedback.

What an amazing place for a brewery! And guess? Your beer is also amazing. It was such a reward to go to the mountains to come here. The view...
Incredible experience! I tried the Afterlife dish, and it was absolutely flawless. The waitress was very knowledgeable and charming. Definitely a must-visit spot for brewery lovers.
Great place to bring your dog and have a flight of beers. It's open seating, with separate bars for food and beer. The staff are very helpful and can get you exactly the beer you're looking for. The food is satisfying. There is a desire for more variety, but they allow many different ways to customize your meal. There are vegan options as well.
If you’re a fan of crisp IPAs or Belgian-style beers, Outer Range Brewing is the place to be! They focus heavily on these two styles, offering more than just hazy brews. Their beers are consistently refreshing and well-crafted. I love visiting after a hike or ski trip in Summit County. The brewery features roomy indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for soaking up sunny days or warming up on chilly ones. They’ve also recently introduced a fried chicken spot, which I’m eager to try, but the beer keeps bringing me back!
If Outer Range Brewing could simply pair its stunning views with its brewery experience, it would be the highest-rated brewery on Untappd. Just look at these pictures—can you imagine savoring delicious beer while taking in this scenery? It's truly something special. It’s interesting that with beer this outstanding, the setting almost feels like a bonus, but the brews perfectly match the view. Outer Range offers big, flavorful IPAs that pack a punch in surprisingly lower ABV formats (a DIPA at 7.2% that tastes as bold as the 9% versions you find in Chicago or New York is rare). They also have a food and coffee menu on-site, along with cool events throughout the year. Even if you’re coming from the opposite direction, the trip is absolutely worth it for both the beers and the beautiful surroundings.
Nestled amidst stunning mountain views, Outer Range Brewery excels in crafting exceptional beers that enchant enthusiasts. Renowned for their hazy IPAs and unique offerings, visitors rave about the inviting atmosphere and friendly service. The addition of Bird Craft's delectable chicken sandwiches enhances the experience, while outdoor seating invites guests to savor brews in the sunshine. Although some found the beer profiles a bit uniform, the overall charm of the space, paired with local coffee and vibrant events, makes Outer Range a top destination for both casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Don’t miss this brewery’s captivating vibes!.

Where can I start... We are regulars at this place as we often ski snowboard or hike in this beautiful area. We have tried all different breweries in the radius of an hour around and Outer Range still remains our absolutely favorite here! Frankly, it's also on the very top of my list of the best Colorado breweries (I have been to 50 . Besides their AMAZING brewing wizardry and a friendly customer service, you can expect to find a great chill lounge on their 2nd floor
I had a great time during my visit after a hike. The beers came highly recommended on UNTAPPD, so my expectations were likely a bit too high. While I thought the five IPAs I tried were good, only one really stood out as excellent. The highlight might have actually been the lunch; the chicken was delicious. I also had some coffee, which was decent, although the wait was quite long. Overall, I'd definitely go back, but I would stick to just a couple of beers and make sure to enjoy lunch again.
The BEST Hazy IPA I have ever tried. They really do kill it with their hazy IPAs and yep the vibes are totally there. Love this brewery: top 3 breweries I?ve been to and I cannot wait to go back. They have a dope outdoor area upstairs with beautiful views. They also have solid local coffee, which is a good pick me up after the slopes or a hike. Should I even mention that the mugs and apparel they have is SPOT ON. Totally coming back, I did cave in and buy a mug, and I can?t
My favorite brewery in Summit County. Dog friendly. Nice backyard in the summers for the pups and an indoor front porch that?s heated for winters or rainy days. The Thai fried chicken from inside at Bird Craft is the BEST! ????????????
It's difficult to find a place that surpasses this. Outer Range is my favorite brewery in Colorado. They always have an impressive selection of IPAs on tap, and each one is outstanding. I haven't tasted a better IPA anywhere in Colorado. To make it even better, the venue itself is incredible! They offer a fantastic upstairs area, complete with a balcony, as well as a cozy downstairs space that includes a wind-protected, heated outdoor section. Plus, they have barrels on the lawn that transform into a stylish heated yurt during the winter. The view from the balcony is simply stunning!

Great spot to enjoy the Mountain View in the fall sunshine drinking beer. Wow excellent beers, had lunch at bird craft and a rice beer. So good. However I found my new favorite beer in the Steep a fruit scented smooth ipa that goes down easy. I had to get a 4 pack to have later tonight. Thank you for some great beers.
Wonderful views of the mountain! They have a section for gluten free which was fabulous. A great spot to hit while in or going through Frisco, Colorado! The rooftop is a nice added plus to an already pretty big brewery. Easy and quick service with a lot of people and very dog friendly!
This place is a fantastic spot for a drink after skiing! The IPA is the best in the area. It's conveniently located just off I-70, making it easy to get to. They have outdoor seating equipped with portable heaters for extra comfort. I haven't tried the food yet, but I've heard positive reviews. The service is excellent, and the bar staff offers great recommendations.
For all the IPA fans! If you like hoppy beer this is the place for you. Great selection of beer, good ambiance, good sized outdoor patio. And if you aren't sure what you are looking for, all of the staff are good at explaining the different types of beer. Definitely a must stop on your way from denver to breck or keystone, they also offer many of their beers in 4 pks to go.
Absolutely love this place! The beer is some of the best in the state. The chicken is amazing. The coffee and breakfast burritos are also so good. The patio is epic and the interior both up and down are comfy and fun. Plus the merch game is strong. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

New beers are released every Friday! If you're a fan of IPAs, this is definitely the spot for you. But if IPAs aren't your thing, you'll still find some great options here.

The beer was decent, but nothing special. They had a lot of IPAs, but not much variety beyond that. The place had a strong Oktoberfest atmosphere, but surprisingly, there was no Oktoberfest beer available! Really?
