Kura Revolving Sushi - Frisco

We frequently visit the Plano location, but this was our first time at the Frisco branch. The food was decent, and the service was just okay. It took about ten minutes for the robot to bring us water, when it would have been quicker for our server to do it. The tempura shrimp in the udon soup was served in a steamy bowl, but the batter was soggy, which was disappointing. On the plus side, we ate enough to earn a free gift, and I got the ones we wanted! Yay!

Although it's on the pricier side, the experience and food quality make it worth it. The enticing conveyor belt filled with delicious sushi, the captivating automated menu system, and the mouthwatering gourmet dishes all come together to create a fantastic dining experience for friends or family. It's a perfect option for a delightful dinner indulgence.

The atmosphere is fun and comfortable. I recommend downloading the app and checking in during busy weekends or peak hours. Most of the dishes were very good, especially the white fish and non-protein options. The beef, salmon, and some tuna items were decent as well. A nice touch is their use of non-paste wasabi—they serve coarsely grated wasabi that is sweeter and milder than the typical paste. However, it can get quite pricey if you don’t keep track of what you order. There’s also room for improvement with the service machines. While a robot delivers drinks, if you need straws or utensils, you’ll have to wait for a busy staff member. Additionally, having the option to check and pay from the table would be a great enhancement.

Robotics. Beyond fun! If your kids love sushi, bring her. This place is reasonable in price, a new innovative experience in the dining room, fast and friendly service. Time and again!

Monthly specials are limited quantities and is only available from 4/15 4/24. We went through the check in system from APP and waited for an hour as it was estimated. Foods are Delicious as usual. Worth the wait!
