I would give him 4.5 stars. the meat had great taste and was properly cooked. the bungalow was very beautiful. we tried the woofers. they are a little greasy, but it is a huge baked piece of wobble, so it is to be expected. the frits have this bumpy addition coating on them. it's not something I prefer, but some people like it. This place has gone straight down hill. My burger was smashed because it was loose in my to go bag, the $8 slice of pie was smaller than it has ever been. So much grease on the onion rings it pooled at the bottom and made them all soggy. This use to be my go to, now its not better than McDonalds. It’s extremely obvious from reading other reviews that this is a consistent problem with the takeout orders. View all feedback.
It is difficult to mess up burgers, but this was one of the worst burgers I have ever tasted. It was overloaded with mustard and the entire burger was messy, as if it was hastily thrown together. Additionally, the beef lacked seasoning. Perhaps it was just an off day, as the overall reviews seem positive, but it did not meet my expectations at all.
If you are in the area and want to experience a real Texas Burger, you must come to this place. They taste like no other, and the service ambiance is perfectly authentic.
The brisket sandwich was great with an addition of green chile.
Kenny's is the standard to which I compare all other burgers. Consistent every time!
We were craving a good burger, and this place delivered! I had a burger with mushrooms, and it melted in my mouth. I'm a small person, and generally, half pound burgers are too much for me, but this place is the exception. Best burger I've ever had in my life! My fiance got an adult milkshake as well and enjoyed it a lot. Small people beware: it's strong! I could feel it with just one sip. Don't try one on a work night. Our server was also excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. She also made the milkshake, and the presentation of that alone was phenominal. Definitely shortend my lifespan, though. We have decided to only come once a month as a treat. Any more and we'd need bigger pants.
