The ambiance at this restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent. From the crab-filled avocado to the carving station, everything was delicious and made my mouth water. They even have a live band playing 70's music on Thursdays, making for a fun evening. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hoff's Steaks And Steins:
We went for a Mother's Day brunch, but unfortunately the service was slow. Even though there was a set menu, the table and cutlery were dirty. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours for our meal, and when we finally got to dessert, we decided to leave. View all feedback.
We opted to visit our first time on Mothers Day! We knew anywhere on Mother’s Day would most likely be behind, so we went in knowing that. The waiter was attentive and the manager came over without us saying a thing when our food was delayed. The food was fantastic and the establishment itself was awesome! My nana, grandfather, mom and dad enjoyed **** Mary’s and my hubby a giant 32 oz amber beer. All in all, a bit slow our whole experience was 2.5 hours but would absolutely go back for a date night and will certainly share with friends.
Really enjoyed this eatery. The food and service was excellent, the staff was friendly and management came by several times to check on us. Delicious in the every way.
Wow... this place defined true Texas hospitality. We had a blast, the service was amazing. From the minute we walked up they had outdoor seating and found an amazing couple with two great Danes, they were so nice, and loved our girls playing with the dogs. Such a great family to meet. Then as we walked in our hostess was so nice, made our girls smile, and happy, let them sit on the saddle in the waiting area. Not to mention our server who was also the bartender managed to make our girls some roses out of napkins and made their day. Now let's get into the food. Oh my the best steak and ribs ever. The pretzel was a unique appetizer but still very delicious. Lastly the beer as you can see in the pictures that they have samplers and plenty to drink. I had the Texas Blood and it was absolutely amazing as well. Overall if you are looking for a true Texas Steakhouse this place will not let you down.
We were seated promptly and placed our drink and appetizer orders. However, our server did not return and we had to get our own straws from the bar. After waiting 45 minutes without receiving our appetizers or drinks, we asked another server for assistance. Despite seeing our server socializing at the bar, she ignored us. The manager eventually came to our table and informed us that our order had never been placed. After waiting an hour, our appetizers finally arrived, but they were unimpressive. We decided to just ask for the check, which initially included the full meal. They adjusted the bill for what we had not received, and we paid and left. Several other frustrated tables also left without eating. The manager's attempts to rectify the situation were appreciated, but we were disappointed that no compensation was offered for the inconvenience and poor service. Our original server seemed more focused on the bar than the tables she was serving. We ended up getting takeout from Hard Eight instead. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred us from ever returning to this restaurant, and we would not be surprised if it goes out of business soon.
The food at this restaurant was generally quite delicious. The cocktails were excellent. However, there seemed to be not enough waitstaff and kitchen staff working. Our table was dirty when we first sat down, and it took 30 minutes to get water because they had run out of glasses. Our appetizers took 40 minutes to arrive, and our lunch took almost 3 hours instead of the expected 90-minute experience. Despite these issues, I would consider returning to this restaurant if they improve their staffing situation.
