I had a wonderful experience at this cozy restaurant during my lunch visit. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious, served quickly and hot. It's conveniently located next to Stonebriar Mall, making it an easy stop. We enjoyed the chicken Seekh kabob, chicken biryani, and daal gosht, all of which were fantastic. What Virág Pap doesn't like about Deccan Grill Frisco:
Good food (4 stars). I ordered their Iftaar kit with Haleem and mutton biryani. Both were awesome.Mutton biryani was probably one of the best I have eaten! They forgot to put a few pieces (date and samosa) in there and when I pointed it out to them on the next visit they couldn't care less, LOL. customer service is not great..UPDATE:Ordered twice after above using GrubHub, both times order got cancelled. This restaurant comes very close to delivering an authentic Hyderabadi biryani experience. I was truly impressed by the quality of their biryani. They offer a wide variety on their menu, so I definitely recommend giving it a try. I’m giving it four stars mainly because of their operating hours; according to Google, they close at 10:00 PM, but in reality, the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM.
I ordered the full-size chicken tikka masala from this restaurant, and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. It seemed like they had diluted the medium-sized portion into a full one by adding water to the curry. The service was also very lacking.
I wouldn't give this place even one star based on our experience. The service was terrible; the two girls at the counter acted very strangely and made us feel quite uncomfortable. They don't even offer free water—it's disappointing that even tap water isn't available. The price-to-portion ratio is completely unbalanced. Eating here just isn't worth it; you’d be better off spending your money at a chain like Bawarchi. When they asked if we wanted to dine in or take out, we said we would dine in, yet they still served our food in to-go containers, which felt odd. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
I’ve been looking at the reviews and wondering if unhappy customers can get a refund or exchange. I visited Earl's last week and ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, which turned out to be quite dry and chewy. However, they replaced the entire meal with something else. I ended up ordering the street-style chicken tacos, and they were delicious!
