What Pearl Hagenes dislikes about Bread+salt:
Ordered breakfast for lunch. Eggs with truffle oil and herbs, toast, hash browns. Very disappointing visit. Toast was very hard, no jam. Also ordered a beverage and 15 minutes after food arrived still didn't have a drink. Talked to 2 other staff who finally sent waitress. I understand about short staffed but she didn't even say sorry I forgot your drink. She never did come by to ask how things tasted which is when I... View all feedback.

This is a pleasant little restaurant, with great service, and an interesting menu. The food was good, but did not change my life. That is, one of our group had the chilaquiles, which were tantalizingly described as being in a red chipotle sauce. The sauce was red, but all tomato. The cured salmon benedict was good, but did not amaze me. So good, but not great.
Overall good experience and we would recommend to others.Pros:-Food was good. Not mind blowing, but solid.-Staff was very niceCons:-Tables are extremely small and we barely had room for our plates. Some were hanging off the table.-The latte was not very good
This restaurant has amazing food and excellent service. The truffle scramble is incredibly delicious. They are open daily from 7am to 2pm. This is a must-visit place to eat!
The mushroom benedikt was the best benedikt I had lived in my life. my man had the Tri-Beet-Gat-Peststo court. it was also amazing and cooked to perfection.

In the vibrant culinary scene of Summit County, one restaurant stands out for its creative breakfast offerings and inviting atmosphere. Guests rave about exceptional dishes like pancakes, omelets, and a standout breakfast burrito. The outdoor seating provides a pleasant mountain view, though noise from traffic can be a distraction. While many appreciate attentive service during quieter times, experiences vary, with some reviewers noting delays and disinterested staff. Despite inconsistencies, Bread and Salt maintains high standards that distinguish it from typical breakfast spots. Overall, it remains a recommended choice for those seeking quality and variety in their breakfast experience.

There is plenty of outdoor seating for viewing the mountains and people watching while enjoying delicious food!
This place was delicious!!! Their breakfast burrito is awesome. Everyone enjoyed what they had. The lattes were decent— I wish they had an option for coconut milk though.

I had an extremely negative experience at this restaurant due to the poor service. The staff seemed disinterested and took no pride in their work. It took over 20 minutes to receive a menu, and even then, the waitress was rude and unprofessional. The bar was poorly managed with no bartender, resulting in watered-down sodas with excessive ice. The food took 40 minutes to arrive and was of poor quality, with hard eggs and rancid bagels. When I could not eat the meal, the waiter offered no solution. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I recommend going elsewhere for a better dining experience.

The Omelette and Pancakes were amazing at this restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cool. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a perfect 5 out of 5.
My family and I visited this restaurant while on vacation and had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return in the future. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. The brunch we had was delicious and the cost per person was between $10 to $20.
Simply amazing. The jam was so delicious that I even spread it on my French toast and then ordered an extra side of toast afterwards.
It is a great place for enjoying outside seating. My husband said the Pork Pablano Green Chili was the best he has had. The breakfast and staff were fantastic. The Avocatini breakfast sandwich with a side salad was amazing! Enjoy a delicious meal and people-watch while sitting outside on the corner.
The food at this restaurant is amazing. I am thrilled that they have opened this establishment. Their breakfast offerings are top-notch and the lunch choices are also fantastic. This place is newer compared to some of the older, more crowded establishments in town. I predict that eventually there will be a line out the door because the food speaks for itself. I suggest enjoying it now while it's still not too busy to grab a seat and have a leisurely breakfast.
The variety of food options at this restaurant is fantastic, exceeding the offerings of a typical breakfast spot. My only critique is that the lattes lacked flavor. The outdoor seating is ideal for enjoying breakfast or lunch, with most tables being shaded and offering a nice view of the mountains. However, there is some noise from passing traffic.
Breakfast was very tasty. Great coffee. Love how much of the food is locally sourced. Food came out quickly. Very small restaurant so that was the only downside was the space is not plentiful.
Wow. Yet another awesome brunch with my daughter at the Bread and Salt. The staff are happy and there are enough of them to stay on top of your tables. It says something to see a place so we’ll staffed with smiling cooks and waiters. And the food is amazing too. Thank you and enjoy!
