Heritage Cafe - Friendswood

I love visiting this restaurant because their coffee and chocolate cookies are delicious. The seating arrangement is also great, as it allows me to do my homework without any distractions. I enjoy coming here with my friends, as they have a variety of board games that we like to play. Their macarons are a must-try, as they are baked to perfection and the staff treats customers with respect. This place is definitely one of my favorite spots to relax and unwind. (A.H.)

I have visited the heritage cafe multiple times in the past few months and every experience has been positive. We were always greeted by the same woman, who I believe is the friendly owner. The drinks are delicious and consistently good, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the macarons are fantastic. I would highly recommend stopping by this cafe for everyone.

I am only giving this place one star because I was so excited when I first walked in. The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful, but when we tried to ask the owner about the food and drinks, she was very short with us and seemed uninterested. The food and drinks were fantastic, but we wished that the place was run by someone friendlier. The owner asked us to move tables because food and drinks were not allowed at our table; it was reserved for meetings. When I asked about the teas and if I could smell them, she rudely replied and walked away. We won't be returning due to the poor service, not because of the quality of the food, drinks, or cleanliness.

Partner and I decided to check out the place around 6:30, right before it closed. We decided to get one drink for the time being since we just came from another cafe. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice initially but as soon as she noticed we were only ordering one drink her presentation shifted completely. We started getting rude stares while finishing our payment and once the drink was prepared, we were not told it was ready but instead just left on the side of the counter unannounced. Needless to say, we will not return. The customer service is very poor.

Great, cute little place. Ran by one very hard working lady that puts out great stuff. Decent prices too.
