What a surprise when you enter and see the menu, this is high end dining that delivers on taste, ambience and value for money. I can't imagine that you would ever stumble over this restaurant but it is definitely worth making the effort to visit. It is only 30 or 40 minutes from Frankfurt. I visited mid week and it was very busy so it probably makes sense to book in advance

The meat was a little too heavy with a rich dark sauce. At least for my taste. Will come again.

The food is more traditional then when the restaurant still was in Andre Grosfelds hands, but nevertheless it has it's special twists. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the whole time.

The service very friendly. Food delicious, dressed with fresh food. Draisbach went from table to table to make sure we had a taste. I had a 5-course surprise mouse (to forget to take photos) and was very satisfied. I wish the Bastian all the best for the future. I'll go back there.
