What a charming little shop! The drinks are absolutely delightful! I especially loved the smoothies, with the fresh green one being a standout. The staff was very friendly, making the experience even better. It's the ideal place to unwind before or after a whale watching adventure!
The food was pretty bland and I wouldn't choose to eat here again. There was no hot sauce available, and the Suica Sandwiches could have used more salt and pepper. Additionally, it seems that the prices have gone up compared to what is listed online.

I came to Friday Harbor for a couple days this past summer and I will say, Riptide Cafe has to be one of the best spots in the town. I got breakfast here every morning and it was 10/10 every time. Lines tend to be a little long in the mornings but for me it was not a huge issue as my food came out relatively quickly. They have incredible smoothies and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Not a ton of seating inside but plenty outside with a gorgeous view of the docks right there! Overall I think this place is a wonderful spot, if you come to Friday Harbor make sure to give this place a visit.
Erin and crew are fantastic! Love the smoothies and rely on the posey island to get me through the day. The matcha latte and the strawberry matcha latte special are delicious ????
