The music 's mellow, the welcome 's warm and the beer well served. There 's a has it been here forever? about this place, as lovely now as it was for our first pint here in the late 80s. Great food great place started eating there from 1968
The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. It’s great to see a busy pub, especially in the middle of the week. All of the food we had was really tasty, the steak was cooked perfectly and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I've been going here to eat occasionally for over six years and the one thing I can say, is that the food is consistently good.
Went to book in for Sunday lunch as recommended by friend...apparently I won't be disappointed. ..I will don't think I will be looking at the menu...they also have a garden so you can bring the dogs.
Great food. Very friendly locals and staff. Would recommend.
