The Standard - Fresno

I tried Standard this evening. The ambience of the restaurant was unique and kind of had an old world castle kind of feel to it. We arrived to cheerful and gracious staff and got seated promptly. We ordered drinks from the bar and the appetizer of asian lettuce wraps. The wraps were seasoned perfectly and were delightful. I had the ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes which was cooked perfectly. My husband had ahi tuna with mushroom risotto which was incredible. The mushroom risotto was creamy, delicious and cooked to perfection. I could have just eaten the risotto and been happy with the meal. The wasabi that came with ahi tuna was potent and seem to be made in house which was a delightful twist. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would definitely return to dine again soon.

I've visited a few times, my birthday my boyfriends. First time really experiencing a lounge/club for the first time it was a great one. We got tables both times. The host/bottle girl that helped us the first time also helped us the next time. She was amazing super friendly. If anyone wants a really fun experience totally recommended her (Jordan is her name). Customer service was super on point kept checking on us. It's a more mature spot. Better side of town a little more expensive so it's not the average club/lounge. It was definitely worth it

We celebrated my men 30. Birthday. So grateful for Raj, and Jordan our host, made this experience seamless. My only problem is that my men's employees, who are all government officials, have received a hard time in the standard due to their tattoos. I realize how they can work for the government without problems, but given a hard time in standard due to their tattoos. But dinner was great. We bought two bottles and I spent $1,000 and the DJ wouldn't play ONE song we asked. He said he was dependent on Raj not playing Hip Hop because he doesn't want this crowd. If people spend money, take their inquiries. The DJ was everywhere and couldn't get into the rhythm. We heard the Vyxn next door, played great music and we are trying to go there, but thanks to Jordan we stayed. Also they accidentally loaded another table on my card and I expect a refund of 3-5 days. It's whatever... but unnecessary to say the DJ Sucked, please play better music. Especially for your guest who spends money. Very disappointing. JORDAN was our waiter, or I would have gone to Vyxn. The mood was for me to spend so much money and I have revenue that I can post. Customer service is 5 stars.
