I just returned to Piemonte 's after a loooong layoff. (At least partially attributable to my high cholesterol. It was great. I had a turkey sandwich definitely, entirely attributable to my high cholesterol and my brother had an Italian veggie. We both loved our sandwiches. What MurF-A-ZoiD doesn't like about Piemonte's Italian Delicatessen:
Besides the Tower Parking which is hit and miss. Piemonte's was my new favorite Italian sandwich and pasta place. I compared it to Sam's Italian Deli sandwiches. An Sam's Italian Deli sandwiches keeps it same like I remember it. Piemonte's lost the size of bread, and their price went through the roof. View all feedback.
Hadn't eaten there in 40 years... the Piemonte's special sub was enough for 2 lunches! great quality cold cuts and produce.
Today was my first time ordering here, and I had an Imported Prosciutto and provolone sandwich. It was, I think, the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten! The imported prosciutto melted in my mouth! It was scrumptious and I'll definitely be back!
Started going here when I moved to Fresno for 1991. Company brought me here and it was not too far away from the Tower District. Great sandwiches.
Piemonte's Deli in the Tower District has survived many generations thanks to fresh ingredients, large portions and a great family recipe for Italian Meat Sauce. You can buy it fresh or frozen in pints to reheat at your leisure just add spaghetti or they have fresh frozen packs of raviolis in their freezer section in either spinach or meat ravioli. A 2 pints of sauce to 1 package of ravioli seems to work best. Maybe grab a loaf of French bread and you can have a great dinner.
Great sub sandwiches and I usually hate sub sandwiches. But these are great . I totally recommend
