Easy reservation process for large party, amazing service and meal

Great meal service for our 27th wedding anniversary.

We walked in at 5:20 for our 5:30 reservation. The hostess couldn’t find our reservation or acted like she couldn’t find our reservation. She told us to step a side. I told her don’t worry about it we will just go and eat at the bar. Funny how the couple behind us weren’t told to step aside but were taken to their table immediately. Besides that the bartender did a great job and the food was delicious as usual.

Impeccable service and consistent great quality food

We go to Max’s weekly, sometimes multiple times a week! This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Fresno. It’s a gem where you can go and get good food, good drinks and good service-all in one! That’s very hard to find now days. The owner, JJ, is always around and working right alongside his staff-which I’m sure is what makes this place so unique and also builds a sense of pride in everyone who works there. I love that they do daily specials-which are changed for lunch time and dinner time. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes I to running this restaurant from the rotating flower arrangements, unique wall art and assortment of amuse-bouche. Definitely try if you have not!
