Manhattan Steakhouse - Fresno

My wife and I went to Manhattan Steakhouse Bar for our 51st anniversary. Our meals started out great. We both had a couple of drinks and salads before our main courses which were all fantastic. This was looking like the perfect night we had hoped for. Next the main courses came out and they looked great but my wife had ordered the lobster raviolis but they had a fishy taste not an expected sweet meat taste. I had ordered the New York steak with a Roquefort glaze. I normally order my steaks medium rare but after discussing how steaks were prepared with the waiter, he suggested I may want to order my steak medium which I did. My steak was not only tuff with pieces of silver sinue through most of the steak but was downright raw being not pink but still red and bloody.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the location; it’s not every day you come across a fantastic restaurant in a strip mall, but this one truly stands out. After a long day of hiking in Sequoia, we were in search of a nice place for dinner, particularly a steakhouse. The service was excellent; the hostess was friendly, and our waitress was very attentive. Our orders were taken and served promptly. The menu, although small, offered a reasonable variety of options. We started with the bacon appetizer, and each of us ordered a NY Strip steak. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the hash browns, though unexpected, were delicious. If you’re in the mood for a relaxed steakhouse with a calm ambiance and well-prepared meals, this is definitely a great option.

The food here is overpriced and feels more like cafeteria fare. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, it fell short. The only redeeming aspect is the bar, which is quite nice.

Amazing, one of our guests had their steak served not as ordered. This was immediately fixed. The management immediately comped her meal and offered free desserts. We understand why this place is always packed and hard to get into. Service and attention to clients top priority. If you come here THICK sliced bacon appetizers A MUST ,

First time here, we were recommended by the owner of The Vault Jewelry store. Absolutely the best experience. We didn’t have a reservation but sat at the bar and enjoyed the food and drinks. Host was so sweet to treat us at the end with a special on the house complimentary drink. Our new favorite spot when we come back into town! The steaks
