What User doesn't like about India's Oven Restaurant And Bar:
Kayla the bartender was rude and felt like she was making up prices on the go. They had a weekend bar menu, where they showed specials. $3 dollar bud light and Coors light. Plus 5 dollar shooters. I bought a whiskey sour, vodka sprite, and a Coors light. Totaled 32 dollars asked bartender how much where mix drinks. She said 12 each, so I asked why is my beer more when it says 3 dollar Coors light. To which she replie... View all feedback.
The atmosphere was decent and the service was good, but the food was disappointing. I ordered onion kulcha, Amritsari naan, and saag paneer, but we struggled to finish our meal and felt nauseous afterward. The bread was undercooked, and the saag paneer was overly sour with way too much lemon. I usually don’t experience acid reflux from Indian food, but this time I did. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine.
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. The place was tidy and beautifully adorned. Kim truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. This is the best Indian food I've enjoyed in years! Food rating: 5/5.
The food was incredibly delicious—definitely the best Indian cuisine I've experienced so far! Everything was wonderful, and I highly recommend it. Additionally, our server was delightful. Food rating: 5/5.
Ordering a butter chicken, I would have assumed a side dish such as rice would be accompanied. $15 for a bowl of spicy butter chicken was a disappointment- not remotely spicy or even a kick of spice. I placed a take out order via call and the lady who took my order did not review my order after placing, nor did she tell me my total cost of the order before letting me know how long it was going to be made. A lively atmosphere but the food was not worth the cost.
??This restaurant isn't what people are saying it to be. It falls short with service. I ordered online and didn't get what I paid for. Ordered 2 butter chickens and 2 garlic naans. Was given two plastic tubs of butter chicken and a foil with the naan in it. Wasn't told that the rice didn't come with the chicken. Who sells butter chicken without a side? It's an additional $5 more on top of the $15 for the butter chicken. Not cool at all. Then I asked the guy to put forks and napkins in the bag. And when I got my order, I got nothing. Bare minimum service to their customers. I don't see this establishment with a bright future if they are trying to cut corners and deceive their customers. Would not recommend at all. If your reading this, I refer you to Standard Sweet and Spices on Dakota. Much better service and you get better quality food. ??
