El Toro Cafe - Fresno

The restaurant has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. The food is fantastic. The tacos are particularly delicious.

The hostess seemed bothered. The waitress was very friendly. The tacos were fantastic. Everything else was just average.

This place had been around for more than 50 years with really good food and large portions. My other half ordered the loaded nachos with everything on it and I ordered the vegetarian burrito with beans and tostada combination for dinner. It seems that everyone comes here for the nachos. A side of guacamole comes in a giant cup. The complimentary chips and salsa taste fresh and delicious. The margaritas come in a big beer glass. The food does take a while to come out, but it's worth the wait. Don't expect to dine in and have the food come out quickly, this is not a fast food restaurant. If you want fast food, Robetitos is next door.

I had simple chicken fajitas, and the meat was beautifully tender and juicy. So much food! We each had leftovers for the next day's lunch. What a bargain. This time the waitress was inattentive, but that was unusual. Bathrooms were in need of attention too.

Love the food and the service, waitresses are always smiling and willing to chat with u. Always enjoy our meals, especially their Nachos.
