We hosted our company Christmas party in the Sequoia room at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was delicious, and the bacon mac n cheese steak was awesome. The rooms were very nice, and there are plenty of nearby activities, such as the Selland arena right next door, which is a great convention center. View all feedback.
What j g doesn't like about Doubletree By Hilton Fresno Convention Center:
If you are looking to pay a high price just to have your car broken into, then this is the perfect place for you. I had my rims stolen while parked in front of the hotel, despite the small security presence. When I made a complaint, I received a dismissive response of "OK, not my problem." Be cautious of your vehicle being broken into here. View all feedback.
Amazing customer service, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. the ambiente is relaxing. I give 4 stars because I was awakened by the train near and the AC fans from the windows. after I test my noises off my headphones I slept great! I wish I had chosen a room on the left side of the elevator or somewhere on the opposite side of the poollift.
Excellent stay! Good hospitality has been had to find at hotels since the start of the pandemic, but this place wow'd me. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. The lobby/bar/restaurant area, elevators, parking area, and guest room were always super clean. The location downtown is close to everything in Fresno and they have free parking! Security is low key but present, making the hotel feel safe. The heating and air in the guest rooms is central so there are no noisy wall units. Individual thermostat heated and cooled the room quickly and quietly.I had a couple of minor issues that were quickly and happily resolved. If I had to criticize anything, the beds were just OK. It was the highest priced hotel in Fresno during my visit, but I feel like I got what I paid for.
Regrettably I got the impression that hotel management is running the wheels off this hotel. The good: Convenient location. Nice staff. Decent rooms, though the A/C didn’t work. The bad:They never cleaned our room despite scheduling it several times over our stay. The hot tub made us itchy and red. I think the chemical balance is all messed up. We found chemical salts on our bathing suits after. They refused late checkout based on “low/no vacancy”. Understandable, sure. We also booked 16 days among four rooms, one of our parties had a medical emergency and had to leave a day early. They refused to refund one of the days.
I gave three stars because the jacuzzi pool was so nice the hotel itself is beautiful. Only thing was that our bathroom was dirty . We went in the bathtub had all kinds of different colored hairs in there there was a dirty towel with stains all over it sitting in the bathtub . The toilet was also very dirty . When paying for a hotel like this I definitely expected more. I had a good time but I don’t know that I would ever return because of the cleanliness .
Room 645 (executive room) had no A/C. The room was sweltering hot. Upon arriving food trays were left outside of the door from the prior guests. Trays didn’t get picked up until 4-5hrs later. During dinner service in the lobby, there was only one waitress for over 20+ people. The front desk service was excellent.
