Chef Paul's Cafe - Fresno

Pleasant, friendly staff greets you at the door : All the patrons are smiling, too! Creative menu. Food prepared fresh, in front of you. Fairly priced. Ample portions. It's almost as far away from my home as any resturant in town, but I intend to make this a regular stop. The neighborhood might be a bit intimidating to some; don't let it deter you!!!! I checked.... There have been no issues :

The best meal out I've had in a very long time! The fried chicken was so freaking crispy and juicy, and the greens were delicious. Actually, every single thing I put in my mouth was delicious.

Chef Paul’s is fabulous!! It’s food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. Chef Paul has greeted me every time I’ve been there and wants to know if everything is to our liking and thanks us for coming in. My Dad is over 90 and always claims he isn’t hungry and then, when the food arrives, he gobbles up 4 pieces of chicken like someone’s chasing him! We always enjoy our time here!

Everything is delicious. We have enjoyed fried chicken, fried catfish, shrimp, greens, cabbage, macaroni and on and on. Great food, great staff and great vibe.

Everything we tried today was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try more. I would highly recommend the fried chicken, fried cabbage and the mac n cheese.
