We requested the separate vegan menu, which made our dining experience much easier. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We ordered too much and now have leftovers. What Ps1978 doesn't like about Brahma Bull:
I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The spinach lentil dish was very oily and watery, and it seemed to be lacking in both spinach and lentils. The vegetable curry was also quite oily, but it was more filling. The sambar soup was thin and oily too. I appreciate that they have a separate vegan menu, but this experience was disappointing. Beautiful to see the new menus are clearly marked with the vegan options. happy to have an Indian place in fresno with easily identified vegan food!
I took me from here. the spinach dal was quite oily and watery and seemed to be missing both in spinach and in lenses. the herbal curry was also oily, but sour. the soup was also thin and oily. it is great that they have a certain vegan menu, but this worked badly.
Ask for the separate vegan menu that makes everything easier. everything was absolutely delicious and far exceeded our expectations. we ordered too much to eat, but have rest! the chutneys they bring out for the samosas were our favorite part of the meal. we brought them to everything we ate. the potato plantery was great, not spicy, and was almost like the filling of the samosas. the masala vadas, of whom we had never heard of, they are fried linsenpatties and they were fabulous, in any case. the dal was also fantastic, but does not look appetizing. in general, we would definitely come back. Apparently they have a buffet with many vegan options during lunch.
Instead of asking the waitress/waiter a bunch of questions, just ask for the vegan menu and feel at ease! They have potato samosas which are to die for. I would recommend getting that as an appetizer. At some time of the day they have a buffet, so whether you want to dine in and have the waitress/waiter serve you or you would like to make your own meal, double check on the buffet times.
We always have a hard time finding vegan food in Fresno. Well here it is. Service was excellent and food was very tasty with plenty of vegan options. I wouldn't call it nutritarian food but good tasting for going out.
