We requested the separate vegan menu, which made our dining experience much easier. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We ordered too much and now have leftovers. What Ps1978 doesn't like about Brahma Bull:
I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The spinach lentil dish was very oily and watery, and it seemed to be lacking in both spinach and lentils. The vegetable curry was also quite oily, but it was more filling. The sambar soup was thin and oily too. I appreciate that they have a separate vegan menu, but this experience was disappointing. I am pleased to see that the new menus at Happy, an Indian restaurant in Fresno, clearly indicate the vegan options available. It is nice to have easily identifiable vegan food choices at this establishment.
I got takeout from this restaurant. The spinach dish was very oily and watery, and it seemed like there was a lack of spinach and lentils. The curry was also oily, but it had a savory flavor. The Sambar soup was thin and oily as well. It's nice that they have a vegan menu, but unfortunately, it didn't work out well in this case.
I am delighted to see that the new menus have clearly marked vegan options. It's great to have an Indian restaurant in Fresno where vegan food is easily identifiable!

The chutneys served with the samosas were our favorite part of the meal, so much so that we ended up putting them on everything. The potato vegetable curry was not spicy and reminded us of the samosa filling. The fried lentil patties, masala vadas, were a pleasant surprise and we highly recommend ordering them. The dal was also fantastic despite its appearance. Overall, we would definitely return to this restaurant. We heard they offer a vegan buffet during lunch with a variety of options.
