Whitey's Diner - Fremont

Eat like a local!. My husband went to college in Fremont and was familiar with Whitey 's. Until recently I've never eaten there. He told me stories about the huge hamburgers at Whitey, so I couldn't wait to try them. They are very tasty and very tasty. There is a unique aroma for her burgers that I tried... The French fries' orders are large enough to share with someone. So if you're not really hungry, plan sharing! Your frits remind me of the fresh cutries that are sold so delicious at fairs! While I was eating there, I felt like in the company of my grandparents and their friends. That's not a bad thing! Everyone was nice and warm for us. We were greeted at the front door with a "Hello" by one of the workers at the counter. The lady who took our money when we paid the bill was as sweet as a little old grandmother. Every time someone came in, it seemed like all the employees knew who they were and called out their 'Hello'. This small place has its charm, delicious food and wonderful staff. While food is not considered as a health food, you get fat portions. I can understand why this place is often spoken by locals and is favored by locals.

Wow!!!! Every summer we go to Ohio to see my sister-in-law. And before we go to the shaft to get the best food. We love all!!!!

During the trip for work I like to eat in local mom pop shops. If you are in or near Fremont, OH I recommend eating at Whitey's. I had just packed a great breakfast in a small town near social surroundings with the locals. The price is reasonable and the portions to fill a small army.

Big fat spoon. Very friendly. The sauce was wonderful. Whitey was a nice find for those people from the city. Much better experience than a chain restaurant.

Whitey's. A landmark restaurant around here! NOT HEALTHY FOOD! a real greasy spoon. Eat here occasionally... Trash potatoes are the BOMB! Eggs, potatoes, peppers, onions, ham, cheese, bacon? all on one plate. Yummy!
