My favorite Thai place. I fell in love with Thai because of this place. Crispy fish with sweet garlic sauce. Omg. It must come every time. Soft fish, crispy, this sweet garlic sauce. Basil beef, veggie or deluxe? Fried rice... any kind, basil, chicken, beef, crab. Pad Thai-not sweet, only light, slightly sour.... Aubergine chicken, Tom yum, Larb, drunk noodles. I could go on. It's okay. I was there so many times. It'... View all feedback.

Avoid this place !!! This place is a disaster ! I've come here for so many years when it was pretty good . Now it's a shabby completely self service place that is poorly maintained ! They don't even k ow what's in their dishes and what's not. That's a huge disadvantage for strict vegetarians. This place will probably close anytime soon. View all feedback.
Love the food. One older lady is our favorite who is very gracious and always very friendly. Even over the phone. Quality of food is best at this sala thai
Great way to start your lunch when you have a pretty cute waitress taking your orders. Great service, great food. After we ordered, the food arrived within minutes. We had the tom yum seafood soup and basil chicken. The place is packed during meal times. Never ending crowd.
Post covid update: no sit down dining but they’ve been making just as good halal Thai food. My favourite is the drunken noodles, crispy garlic fish and their yellow curries!
Sala Thai 2 is one of the best Thai spots in the East Bay (and has been for many years). The team at Sala Thai constantly delivers exceptional food and service, even as they were hit hard by the pandemic. I highly recommend the spicy garlic fish, pad kee mow, and tom yum soup with the Thai iced coffee. Please consider supporting this location
Great food. Basil fried rice was amazing. Panang curry tasted great Drunken noodles was too oily. Only drawback is that right now, this restaurant was serving food with takeout materials (plastic plates, forks, containers). We didn’t get it in washable plates or spoons. It would have been a better experience if we did since the food was great. Wondering if this was a post pandemic decision to cut costs.
