My famil... read more I have visited three different Sakoon restaurants and have never been disappointed by the flavor and taste. This time, I dined at the Fremont location. My family started with two appetizers—Chaat Papdi and Saufia Paneer—and they both loved the flavors. The only minor issue was that there were fewer papdis in the Chaat Papdi (lol). The main courses were also very delicious. When we requested green chili on the side to add more spice, they offered a different dish (some kind of salad) instead, which I didn’t quite understand. The seating on the sides is a bit cramped and uncomfortable, but the middle seats are better since you can adjust the chairs. My review mostly centers on the taste, and I would happily return whenever I want to enjoy flavorful food.

I took my family out for dinner tonight, and we were all extremely satisfied with both the meals and the service. It was an amazing experience!

This restaurant, which may have been decent in the past, has become the worst in the Bay Area as of July 2022. The prices do not reflect the quality of the food at all. The meat was extremely dry, and the tandoor dishes were poorly cooked, with raw spices still on the meat. The server was inattentive; despite the restaurant not being busy, it took him about 30 minutes to return to our table to take our main course order after serving the starters. I tried to get his attention several times, but he mostly stayed in the kitchen.

It took... read more The food was extremely disappointing. The chicken had a foul smell and was overly greasy. None of the curries tasted fresh and they were all quite oily. It took about 15 minutes to receive the naan. This was on a Friday. No one should have to pay $20 for such poor quality food. Bombay Garden would have been a much better choice.
