As a waitress myself, I rarely complain about service, understanding the stress that comes with a busy restaurant. However, during my recent visit with my mother, I was disappointed by the level of service we received at this restaurant. The manager, who was also serving our table, neglected to check on us throughout our meal, in contrast to the attention she gave to other tables. She failed to offer us dessert or ask if we wanted to take any leftovers home, and instead brought the bill without a word. This lack of attentiveness and rudeness made us feel unwelcome and overlooked. In the end, I left a tip that was undeserved. I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience with my mother, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired.
I really enjoy dining at my cousin's restaurant. I love her a lot and the food is fantastic. The dining experience is amazing and I absolutely love it.
On Friday night, our group of six dined at this restaurant and each ordered something different. The restaurant is situated in a charming older building with a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, the cold draft at our table made two members of our group uncomfortable. After finishing our meal, we all agreed that it was not great. The fettuccine alfredo was bland, lacking flavor in both the sauce and pasta. The meatball sandwiches and tomato basil soup were average. One member ordered the shrimp penne pasta and was charged an extra $12 for the salad that was supposed to come with it, a detail that was not mentioned by the server. The 8-ounce steak ordered medium rare turned out to be thin, overcooked, and unappetizing. Despite high recommendations, we were left disappointed and unlikely to return.

I stopped in while on business and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The shrimp penne pasta was fantastic and wine selection was adequate. Jen, the bartender, took great care of me and I was even able to have a couple of drinks with Bill, who was the owner of the building. They were a fun, tight-knit group who helped make the most of my evening in town. Highly recommend.
