Massimo's - Fremont

Did was good but the service and atmosphere were ok.

The atmosphere is their greatest asset at Massimo's. It's a very pleasant time, not overly stodgy or ritzy. Everyone is welcoming and service is excellent. The bar was busy and loud. The food, however, is not as impressive. Portions are small, and what there is tastes good, but it's not as next-level as the prices suggest. It's just not my thing. For those who love the place, however, I get it completely.

Has an old school Italian vibe. Had a company holiday party here. Great service by staff. Food was good. Mixed drinks were great.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was good, but we did feel like we were being rushed to get out. They asked my GF to take her plate while she was still eating off of it. Then came back again and asked my GF’s dad, halfway through eating his meal, if he would liked the rest boxed up. Other than that it was a great dinner.

Had a reservation but still waited 45 min for a table. Filet and new york strip steaks were good not great. Mashed potatoes were warm and hard on the outside. Deserts were fair. Creme Brule topping was barely caramelized even though we asked the wattress to do this. The whipped cream on all the dessert tasted like it was made with sour milk. We told the waitress who went to the kitchen and then came back and said that it was bad! Despite this, there was no adjustment on the bill. We had 5 adults and one child and still paid almost $80 a piece.
