Itea - Fremont

In the competitive boba tea market, Itea likely ranks among the top five spots in the area, thanks to its four solid offerings. However, the layout could be more organized and customer-friendly. It tends to get quite busy, making it challenging to figure out whether you should order at the self-service kiosk or wait at the register. The popcorn chicken and other snacks are quite tasty, and having a dining area would be a nice addition to enhance the experience.

The drinks are decent, but the popcorn is truly exceptional! The staff is also delightful.

I ordered the black salted kreama tea, but I only received plain black tea. The chicken was missing garlic and basil, which was disappointing. I'm beginning to lose faith in this place; I used to love it, but it's not living up to expectations anymore.

My favorite drinks here are the Oolong Milk Tea and the Mango Fruit Tea. As for snacks, I really enjoy the Fried Cuttlefish Balls and Takoyaki. Although it can be a bit pricey, the quality and portion sizes make it worth it. Service can be slow when they’re busy, but generally, it’s quick and excellent.

I ordered an avocado smoothie, and while it was really tasty, I found that 20% of the drink was just solid ice cubes. Being stingy with drinks feels quite unprofessional.
